This film is based on the poem, "The Companion" written by Aaima Azhar. The short film, Khalil, follows a story of friendship, and the beauty, loss, grief, and growth that often comes with it. It peers into our hearts, unearthing the best - and the absolute worst - of ourselves and the many unspoken aspects of companionship.
